1. Complex bowel care
In this complex bowel care, we help provide medication and treatments prescribed by the participant’s physicians. We also provide suppositories, enemas, and physical interventions, ensuring and following all personal hygiene control arrangements. We also put nutrition and hydration needs on our list to prevent constipation. Importantly, during this care, our supportive workers respect privacy and confidentiality.
2. Management of enteral feeding
This method, or service, is used for those people who are unable to meet their nutritional needs through oral intake. We will give this care based on a plan made by a health professional with the right qualifications, like a dietician, speech therapist, or occupational therapist.
3. Management of a Tracheostomy
It is a surgical procedure that involves making an incision through the front of the neck into the trachea to generate an air passage for the patient to breathe directly through the trachea while avoiding the upper airway.
4. Management of urinary catheters
Urinary catheterization is a flexible tube that is placed into your bladder to make it vacuum. It is done continuously or at regular intervals to reduce the risk of infection and kidney damage.
5. Ventilator control
Ventilator services are provided to those who require a ventilator intermittently or at specific times. It is provided under the supervision of nurse practitioners, respiratory therapy directors, and respiratory therapists.
6. Injections under the skin(subcutaneous)
In most cases, medications require injections under the skin. These include some vaccines, autoimmune medicines, anticoagulants (medicines to prevent blood clotting), insulin for diabetes management, etc. It is given by health professionals to administer correctly.
7. High Risk of Seizure
People who are at high risk of seizures are helped by our trained health practitioners. People who have epilepsy and a cognitive disability are more likely to have seizures that are severe and difficult to control, as well as an increased risk of mental health issues and preventable death. Certain conditions, such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Down syndrome, have a stronger link to epilepsy than others. Our support staff monitors these participants 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
8. Pressure care and management of complex wounds
These services are provided to disabled people who have deep wounds, pressure imbalances, and require additional care. During the medication, the participants are observed and given treatment under the supervision of trained health practitioners.
9. Mealtime preparation and delivery
We offer meal preparation and delivery services through our support staff. They not only deliver the food, but they also visit the participants’ homes to prepare and cook the food on time. Our trained members can work with you and your loved ones to develop an appropriate meal plan that takes into account all dietary restrictions, as well as perform tasks such as grocery shopping and cleaning as part of the service.
10. Stoma care
The participants receive this stoma care service from our professional stoma care nurse. It entails washing the colon with water either daily or every other day. To accomplish this, our trained Registered nurses gently insert a small device into the stoma and attach it to a water-filled bag. They slowly move water into the colon to wash it out. Once the process is finished, the equipment is discarded.
